Development of the area began around 2007, and it continues to grow with the addition of new houses and amenities. There are currently over 3,500 houses within Fulton Meadows boundaries. Paved walking trails make it easy to find your way to schools, shopping, a recreation centre, scenic marshland, transit, and more!

Fulton Meadows is located on the southeast edge of the City of Edmonton, making surrounding areas - including Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and Edmonton International Airport (Nisku) - easily accessible via Whitemud Drive or Anthony Henday Drive.
